Growth of China-EU trade was the highest with trade value surging 27 per cent to US$356.1 billion, making the EU China's largest trading partner, the report said.
The US came in second with trade value with China up 15 per cent to $302.08 billion. Japan was third, but was also the biggest source of imports with bilateral trade value increasing 13.9 per cent to $236.02 billion.
China-ASEAN trade grew 25.9 per cent to $202.55 billion and China-South Korea trade went up 19.1 per cent to $159.9 billion.
Trade with Hong Kong and mainland China came to $197.25 billion, an increase of 18.8 per cent while trade with Taiwan stood at $124.48 billion, a rise of 15.4 per cent.
Guangdong, Jiangsu and Shanghai were the three most active trading areas in China in 2007, the report said.
Import and export value of Guangdong grew 20.3 per cent to $634.07 billion, accounting for 29.2 per cent in the total trade value.
Jiangsu handled $349.56 billion, an increase of 23.1 per cent, or 16.1 per cent in China's total, while the foreign trade value of Shanghai rose 24.3 per cent to $282.91 billion, representing for 13 per cent in the nation's total.
