All passengers were evacuated safely and no one was injured in the accident, which happened as a result of the stormy weather in southern Sweden, Scandlines spokesman Jens Henrik Nybo said. The ferry had arrived in Trelleborg from Rostock, Germany.
Nybo said the ferry is now anchored outside of Trelleborg and will be taken to the shipyard to be repaired on Monday. We have another ferry sailing on this route, but this will affect the schedules in the coming week,'' he said.
