GreenCarrier launches in Estonia
The fast expanding GreenCarrier brand has now been launched in Estonia following the renaming of the freight forwarder Global Cargo Link. With effect from 1 February 2008, this company will trade as GreenCarrier Estonia.
GreenCarrier is a fast expanding international freight forwarding company and part of the Swedish Bjork.Eklund Group. It now operates throughout Scandinavia and the Baltic states and also has offices in Hong Kong and Shanghai. In October 2007, the Bjork.Eklund Group acquired the Finnish Cargomasters Group, of which Global Cargo Link was a member.
Raido Rebane in charge of Global Cargo Link’s development explained that the change is good news for his customers:
“Being part of a larger group, well established in China, will enable us to offer a higher level of service with greater control of the entire door-to-door logistics chain. We expect to grow our business in Estonia substantially in 2008 and beyond.”
Staffan Kjellberg, Managing Director of GreenCarrier International added: “This is our first step in extending the business in the Baltic states”
