Export of oil products via sea terminal DTC-Vysotsk LUKOIL –II grew in January-October by 37.6% to 7.606 million tons, press center of LUKOIL Severozapadnefteproduct reports. Export of heavy fuel oil totaled 0.888 million tons, export of vacuum gas-oil grew by 42.8% to 2.694 million tons. Export of diesel fuel more than doubled amounting to 4.024 million tons. In October, export of heavy fuel oil totaled 0.247 million tons, vacuum gas-oil – 0.265 million tons, diesel fuel – 0.398 million tons.
The construction of a terminal for oil and oil products transshipment started in August 2002 in Vysotsk. The first phase of Distribution-and-Transshipment Complex was opened in July 2004. Its capacity was 4.7 million tons. By the end of 2005 the terminal carried out transshipment of crude oil and vacuum gas-oil. The terminal’s second phase was put into operation in March 2005. In September of the current year the construction was completed after commissioning of the third phase of the terminal. DTC-Vysotsk is to reach its design capacity of 12.5 million tons per year late in 2006.
