Moscow railway (branch of Russian Railways company) loaded 82.2 tons of cargo in 10 months of 2006, MRW’s press center reports. In October it loaded 8 832.144 thou tons of cargo with average daily loading at the level of 284.908 thou tons. It is 100.7% against year-on-year result and 100.4% against plan. The October result is mainly attributed to growing loading of first-class cargo (+38.502 thou tons) and second-class cargo. The highest growth was demonstrated in the sector of coke loading (118.4% against October 2005), fertilizers (107%), ferrous metals (105.5%), iron ore (104.3%). Total 10M06 loading of MRW amounts to 82 233.621 thou tons (absolute value), or 270.505 thou tons (average daily value), which is 102% against 2005. Net cargo turnover of October totaled 11.65 billion ton-kilometer (+1.9% against 2005). For 10 months of 2006 cargo turnover totaled 103.152 billion ton-kilometer (+9.7% against 2005 and + 2.6% against plan).
