Vostochny Port handles 13.564 million tons of cargo in 10M06

Vostochny Port OJSC handled 13.564 million tons of different cargo in ten months of 2006, the ports pressrelease reports. The result is 2% higher than in the similar period of the previous year. In October the port handled 1.503 million tons of cargo (+23% against year-on-year result). Cargo turnover of specialized coal complex has also increased: within ten months of this year it handled 12.586 million tons of coal (+8 % against year-on-year result). In October the complex handled 1.401 million tons of cargo (+22% against year-on-year result). Multi-purpose complex (ППК-1) handled 977.9 thou tons of different cargo within ten months of the current year. In October it cargo turnover totaled 102 thou tons (+30% against October 2005).
