Klaipedos nafta decreases oil products transshipment by 3.9% in 10M06

Lithuanian oil terminal Klaipedos nafta decreased transshipment of oil products by 3.9% in January-October to 4.67 million tons, Interfax reports according to RZD-Partner. Corporate income fell by 15% over the reported period to LTL 61.5 million (over $22.7 million). In October Klaipedos nafta decreased transshipment of oil products by 31.7% against year-on-year result to 376 thou tons, corporate income fell by 23.6% to LTL 4.8 million (about $1.8 million) The company attributes the result to decrease of export from Mazeikiu nafta after the fire at its refinery on October 12. Mazeikiu nafta covers about 80% of the terminal’s cargo turnover. 70.63% of Klaipedos nafta’s shares are held by the state.
