Novorossijsk Commercial Seaport liquidates its Anapa branch

Novorossijsk Commercial Seaport has liquidated its branch Anapa Seaport, Interfax reports according to RZD-Partner. The decision was taken on October 27 at the meeting of the NCS Board. According to the materials of Transport and Communications Department of Krasnodar region, seaport of Anapa was founded in 1899. In 1955 the port was reorganized into the unit of Novorossijsk Commercial Seaport. Operational activities were carried out there by NCS’s branch  - Seaport of Anapa. The port is the base for five passenger vessels owned by NCS and serving local passenger lines. In summers marine tours to dolphinarium were organized from the Anapa port. Today the dolphinarium is closed.
