Indian carrier the Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) will expand its route network from later this month with the launch of a new service.SCI is to team up with Emirates Shipping Line and TS Line and will offer the so-called Hyper Galex service, covering ports in China, India and the Middle East.
The service will kick off from Xingang on November 11 and Hong Kong on November 17, a statement issued on behalf of the company said. SCI has also expanded its operations this year to include European and US east coast port calls. Previously, the shipping line launched another two weekly services from the Far East to Colombo, Nhava Sheva and Chennai. Jardine Shipping Agencies is SCI's representative in Hong Kong.
