RZD loading up 3.1% in January-October 2006

RZD OJSC has finalized its results of 10M06. Major financial result of the company in 10 months of 2006 is implementation of income plan in all types of transportation. Income growth is 14% against year-on-year result, Vladimir Yakunin, president of RZD OJSC, told at telephone conference. According to Yakunin, loading was 3.1% up in January-October against year-on-year result. This result exceeds planned dynamics by 2.8%. The company’s income in high-profit sector grew 5.4%. Despite price fluctuation at oil market in the beginning of October, loading of oil and oil products grew by 6%. High dynamics was demonstrated in shipment of ferrous metals  (+10.3%), paper (+9.5%), motorcars (+22.4%), container cargo (+7.6%), Ykunin told.
