Andrzej Wach, the President of the Polish national train operator PKP, has revealed that according to preliminary data, the company reduced its loss to nearly zero in 2007, when compared to a PLN 100m net loss generated in the previous year.
In 2008, a similar result is expected to be achieve, Wach has also revealed that all firms from the PKP group except for the rail infrastructure company PKP PLK made profits in 2007. PKP PLK had a loss of about PLN 60m., Railway Market-CEE Review reports according to RZD-Partner.
