A Turkish company will construct the largest shipyard of Mediterranean in Yumurtalik free zone in southern province of Adana.
Besiktas Maritime Group will build the shipyard on an area of 320,000 square meters. Nearly 100 thousand ships can be repaired and maintained in the shipyard a year.
Yavuz Kalkavan, deputy chairman of executive board of Besiktas Maritime Group, told the A.A that its construction would amount to nearly 100 million USD and it would be completed within next three years.
