Russia may occupy up to 7% of the global market of specialized vessels, Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Ivanov said at a meeting of the Russian governmental maritime Board in Moscow on Friday. He said the shipbuilders should focus on construction of gas- and chemical carriers as well as vessels used at arctic shelf, RBC reports. "Even 5-7% of the global market ensure huge orders," Ivanov said. He also noted that this sector is one of the largest in shipbuilding.
