Throughput of Estonian ports down 26.8% to 3.59 million tonnes in March

In March 2008, the ports of Estonia handled 3.59 million tonnes of cargo (-26.8%, year-on-year), Russia reports with reference to the national statistics department.  However, the throughput of Estonian ports grew by 13.3% against the February results. In March loading totaled 3.06 million tonnes (-31%, year-on-year; +19% against February 08). In the reported period, unloading totaled 526,300 tonnes (+9%, year-on-year).
