April, 20, 2008 – the first car was registered by number 100 000 to gate out from the “RUSSIAN TRANSPORT LINES” terminal in Sea Fishing Port.
Cars deliveries to Sea Fishing Port in Saint-Petersburg were started by RUSSIAN TRANSPORT LINES company in the beginning of 2006. First vessel contained Nissan cars.
Today RUSSIAN TRANSPORT LINES is the first company to organize direct delivery of cars to Russia by sea.
At the present moment the company possesses tree-year contracts with Nissan and Renault for delivery of Nissan, Renault and Infinity cars, and Gefco company for delivery of Peugeot and Citroen cars.
“Russian transport lines“ LLC was established in the year 2004 as 3PL logistics company. Since the year 2005 RTL gains partnership with leading car producers and leadership on vehicles customs clearance market, specializes at finding most efficient logistics solutions for the import flow of cars, special techniques, spares and environments for car producing plants. 2006 – RTL GROUP jointly with the Sea Fishery Port and terminal “Onega” starts the first sea terminal in Russia, Saint-Petersburg for vehicles receipt. At the present moment RTL GROUP realizes a build-up investment project of specialized sea terminal “NOVAYA GAVAN”, Leningrad area.
“Sea Fishing Port” LLC was established during reorganization of JSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg”. The company renders services on the territory close to Р-1, Р-2, Р-3, Р-4, Р-5, Р-6. Since December, 2006 – organized the work of the car terminal jointly with RTL GROUP.
