The Nakhodka City Administration received Valentin FUFAYEV, the Director of Trest Koksokhimmontazh, which is the primary contractor in the construction of the Kozmino specialized oil sea port. Mr. FUFAYEV came to get acquainted with the city before the works start, the City Administration reports.
The First Deputy Mayor of Nakhodka Boris GLADKIKH, who supervises issues of construction of the port, and Mr. FUFAYEV discussed matters of beginning of the works in the Kozmino Bay - the terminus of the East Siberia-Pacific Ocean (ESPO) oil pipe system.
The Trest Koksokhimmontazh Company has won the tender to become the primary contractor and is responsible for construction of the terminus, except for waterworks. The company earlier participated in construction of some objects of Sakhalin I and Sakhalin II, the Baltic Pipeline System, it built oil reservoirs in Novorossiysk for the Caspian Pipeline Consortium and Transneft. It is currently engaged in construction of an oil-transportation base in Ust-Luga for Zarubezhneft. The company undertook oil-concerned construction in the Ukraine, Cyprus, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Norway, Iraq, Kuwait, and other countries.
