Oil price up to $116.46 in London and to $118.30 in New York

In London, the May Brent Crude contract was up $0.51 on April 23 to $116.46 per barrel on the ICE Futures exchange. Light Sweet Crude for may delivery climbed $0.23 to $118.30 on the New York Mercantile Exchange, RBC Finmarket reports.
