Moscow Railroads, a branch of Russian Railways (RTS: RZHD), has restored commuter traffic on the Yaroslavl and Gorky lines, Interfax reports.
"Russian Railways has ensured the resumption of commuter traffic. It has assigned additional locomotive crews and provided traffic control," the company said on Monday.
"A number of locomotive drivers from the Pushkino and Zheleznodorozhny depots of Moscow Railways refused to work without prior notification on April 28 morning. Thus, commuter traffic on the Yaroslavl and Gorky lines was disrupted. About 30 commuter trains departed with a delay," the company said.
More than one million people take commuter trains to and from Moscow each day.
