NWS, the infrastructure flagship of Hong Kong's New World Development, will build a logistics centre at Container Port Road South of Kwai Chung in the New Territories.
NWS subsidiary Shine Fame won the tender for a land site of 250,900 sq ft on a 50-year grant at a premium of US$83.1 million in April. The gross floor area for construction is nearly 700,000 sq ft.
The logistics centre can create synergy with Asia Container Terminals, which also has a site near berth 3 of Kwai Chung Container Terminal.
