Lithuanian railways Lietuvos Gelezinkkeliai (LG) has transported 14.6 mln of goods in the first quarter of 2008, which means increase of 18.8% in comparison with the same period last year.
In international services, LG noticed increase of 12%, transported also 11.3 mln of tones on internal market. In 2007 LG has transported 53.5 mln tones of freight, which is 6.6% more than in 2006, Railway Market-CEE Review reports according to RZD-Partner.
