Greek owner to order eight boxships from Jiangsu Yangzijiang Shipbuilding

Greek owner Thenamaris has signed a letter of intent (LOI) with Jiangsu Yangzijiang Shipbuilding to order up to eight boxships. ??The owner is said to be planning to book two each of 1,800 teu and 2,500 teu for delivery in 2012. The larger ships cost in the $40m range and the smaller ones around $30m. Neither side has confirmed the broker speculation.
