Following the acquisition of Norfolkline the DFDS Group has decided to re-brand the whole fleet. All seaborne traffic will sail under the brand DFDS Seaways in the future. Subsidiary brands as DFDS Tor Line, DFDS Lys Line and DFDS Lisco will disappear. All ships will get new names accordingly. The prefix Tor will disappear from all ro-ro vessels, and be replaced by Seaways as suffix. Recently the Tor Primula switched name to the Primula Seaways during a docking at Fredericia Skibsværft. The former Norfolkline tonnage, which had Maersk as prefix, will switch to the Seaways suffix as well.
Even the passenger vessels will be re-branded and switch to the same blue hull colour that has been used on the ro-ros.
All other activities in the DFDS Group, as terminal services and other land based services, will be branded as DFDS Logistics.
