The United Arab Shipping Company (UASC) has appointed United Arab Agencies (Australia) Pty Ltd as the company's official agent in Australia to provide the full range of liner agency representation in the Australian market.
UAAA is a fully owned subsidiary of the Inchcape Shipping Services Group in Sydney and has satellite offices in Melbourne, Adelaide and Fremantle.
UAAA will inaugurate UASC's new container service AAC1 - announced last month - covering Australia to South East Asia with connecting services further covering the Indian Subcontinent, Middle East, the Red Sea, Mediterranean and Northern European markets, starting next month.
The following is the AAC1 port rotation: Port Kelang, Singapore, Fremantle, Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, and Port Kelang, with the maiden voyage departing from Port Kelang.
The appointment of UAAA Pty Ltd is part of UASC's long term growth and regional expansion plans for a wider network coverage and will ensure the delivery of a personalised customer service through dedicated local works.
