The freight price sub-index for coal and food decreased by 2.06 percent and 16.87 percent, respectively.
The freight price sub-index for metals and minerals inched up by 0.01 percent month-on-month.
Qinhuangdao Port had coal inventory of 6.463 million tons as of July 26. Turnover volume hit 3.925 million tons.
Shares of China International Marine Container (000039) rose 0.61 percent to trade at 13.2 yuan at 13:34 pm today.
