Sea Port of St. Petersburg posts net loss of 30,8m for H1, 2010

Net loss of the Sea Port of St. Petersburg JSC in January-June amounted to RUB30,801m against net income of RUB21,587m a year earlier, the company statements said.
 
Revenues of the Group for the first half of the year made up 550 million 14 thousand rubles, 17.7% down from H1, 2009. The income cutback was caused largely by a decline in income from the property lease and energy management, the report said.

The group of companies Sea Port of St. Petersburg, part of the Universal Cargo Logistics Holding BV. incorporates First Stevedoring Company CJSC, Second Stevedoring Company CJSC, Third Stevedoring Company CJSC, Fourth Stevedoring Company CJSC at the Big Port of St. Petersburg, and Universal Transshipment Complex at the port of Ust-Luga and the number of service companies. Last year’s net income of Sea Port of St. Petersburg amounted to 41,844,000 rubles.
