Russia’s foreign trade turnover in H1 up 41.5%, to $293.9bn

Foreign trade turnover of Russia, according to the Bank of Russia totaled in the first half of this year $293.9 billion, or 41,5% up from H1, 2009. Exports jumped 51.4% to $189.8 billion, imports increased by 26.4% to $104.2 billion.
The trade balance remained positive, at $85.6 billion (in H1, 2009 - $43 billion), the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) said.
