MSC in a release said that the inclusion of Port Pipavav will give shippers and consignees an additional gateway option on the West Coast for their cargo.
As part of the upgradation, the ISES service will cease calling at Port Said and Barcelona (as these ports will now be served by the newly-announced I-Med service), thereby ensuring faster and improved transits to the UK-North Continent ex India. The revised rotation on the ISES service will now be: Colombo, Nhava Sheva, Pipavav, Mundra, Salalah, Felixstowe, Hamburg, Antwerp, Jeddah, Colombo.
This upgradation of the ISES service is a reaffirmation of MSC’s commitment to the Indian Subcontinent trade.
