The 4th International Forum and Exhibition “Transport of Russia” will be held in Moscow, 16-19 November, 2010. The event’s organizer is the Russian Ministry of Transport, the operator - Business Dialogue company, the forum organizing committee press-release said.
The Forum major objective, the press-release said, is the promotion of the Russia’s transport sector development through the large-scale branch projects, discussions of main problems emerging in the industry.
The Forum may turn a unique ground for constructive dialogue of representatives of the Government and transport business community. The forum and expo participants will have the opportunity to participate in monitoring and reviewing the industry’s program documents, make constructive suggestions for overcoming the crisis in the transport sector, the creation of new mechanisms for implementing the priorities set by the Transport Strategy of the Russian Federation until 2030.
As usual, the business program of the Forum includes conferences devoted to topical problems of all segments of the transport complex, their impact on creating a comfortable environment for the population of Russia.
At least 500 delegates are expected to participate in the Forum. The participants list includes officials of the Russian President Administration, of the Transport Ministry, governors of Russia’s regions, the heads of federal agencies, members of the State Duma and the Council of Federation responsible for development of the domestic transport policy, owners and executive officers of transport and logistic companies, the heads of largest financial, insuring and leasing companies, representatives of major federal and regional mass media covering the business and industry issues.
The exhibition, to be held from November 17 to 19 at the Central Exhibition Hall Manège, will be devoted to the industry’s large-scale achievements. The total exhibition area is 5600 sq.m. Traditionally, the expo presents major projects in rail, road, sea, air transport and related industries.
