Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Viktor Olersky is expected to present the draft federal law “On Amendments to the Federal Law "On sea ports of the Russian Federation and Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation," the Russ. Govt’s press service said. The federal draft law was introduced by the Russian Transport Ministry.
The bill is to remove from paragraph 3 of Article 26 of the federal law "On sea ports in the Russian Federation on Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation" the government requirements set to regulate the disposal or neutralization of dangerous goods at sea ports.
Earlier, the Government’s legal acts, establishing the rules for disposal or neutralization of dangerous goods at sea ports, had lead to overlapping of several legal rules regulating the handling of dangerous goods at seat ports.
