The communist regime's Chosun Central News Agency reported Thursday that a South Korean vessel operating in its exclusive fishing zone was stopped and arrested by the North Korean navy.
The agency added that in the ongoing prode officials have confirmed that the ship's crew crossed into the North's waters.
Last Wednesday, Seoul sent a message to the reclusive state through its National Red Cross calling on Pyeongyang to promptly return the vessel and its seven crew members and to explain the reason behind the seizure.
