One will be located in Amazonas state capital Manaus and the other in Bahia state's Aratu city, reported Busines News Americas.
Investment in Manaus will be around US$142 million and the facility will primarily focus on container transport, according to SEP minister Pedro Brito.
In Aratu, investment is expected to be $565 million over a five-year period. The port will be used for all types of cargo and will house facilities of Brazilian petrochemical company Braskem.
