Crude-futures contract gains over 1% to $73.48 in London, in New York, to $72.52

As of August 25th, IPE Brent crude oil for October settlement gained $1.10 (+1.5%) to $73.48 a barrel on the London-based ICE Futures Europe exchange. Light Sweet Crude also was up 1.2% (+$0.89) to $72.52 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange, Finmarket.ru reports.
