Kazakhstan Zhaikmunai’s first shipment of crude oil via the Ukrainian port of Feodosia

Kazakhstan oil company Zhaikmunai LP made the first shipment of crude oil through the Black Sea port of Feodosia (Ukraine), News-Kazakhstan IA reported.

According Zhaikmunai, 233,444 thousand barrels of oil, almost a monthly production volume of the company, were transported by railroad to Feodosia, where the cargo was loaded onto a tanker. Thus, the company has tested a new direction, which can be used in future for the supply of its oil and condensate.

The report notes, that until recently the company has supplied the raw materials only at the refineries in Finland, Ukraine and Kazakhstan. Zhaikmunai expects the new route of transportation of raw material will allow it to expand the number of crude oil buyers.

Earlier reports said that in 2009 the company's revenue totaled $116 million, EBITDA - about $50 million. As of July 30th the market capitalization of Zhaikmunai L.P. was about $1.2 billion
