Arcelor Mittal’s representative to speak about the prospects of JadeWeserPort project at TRANSTEC-2010

One of the largest multinational corporations Arcelor Mittal will attend the 2nd international conference The Future of Russian Ports, at Transtec-2010 expo, to be held on October 5, 2010 in St. Petersburg. As the exhibition team said, a representative of Arcelor Mittal (Luxembourg) will report at the plenary meeting of the forthcoming conference on the development prospects of a deep-sea container terminal at Jade Weser Port (Germany). Arcelor Mittal also plans be one of the co-sponsors of the official activities of the conference and exhibition.
 
The London-based Arcelor Mittal, registered in Rotterdam (Netherlands), is the world's largest steel group. There are currently179,000 employees working at the Group’s enterprises. The company was formed through the merger of Ispat International NV (Previously absorbed LNM Holdings NV) and International Steel Group Inc. in 2005. The controlling block of shares owned by a British businessman of Indian origin Lakshmi Mittal and his family. The company owns steel manufacturing enterprises located in the UK, USA, Canada, Poland, Czech Republic, Germany, Ukraine, South Africa, Kazakhstan, India and other countries.

The Jade Weser Port deep-water terminal in Wilhelmshaven is expected to be launched in 2011-12.
