LukOil posts a H1 8.2% rise in oil refining volume, to 32,41m tons

The volume of crude oil processing at LukOil’s refineries rose in January-July  by 8.2% from H1, 2009, to 32.41 million tons, the Company’s press service said. Six-month net income of LukOil JSC by US GAAP grew by 24% as compared with the same period last year, to $4 billion.

EBITDA in the first half of the year totaled $ 7.433 billion. Revenues reached $49.755 billion

Production of marketable hydrocarbons by LUKOIL Group in Jan-Jun, 2010 amounted to 2,262 million boe/d, which is 1,9% higher than the level in 2009. Gas production increased by 25.5% to 300,000 boe/d.
 
In Jan-June, oil production totaled 48.14 million tons. Production of marketable gas by LukOil amounted to 9.24 billion cubic meters, including 2,48 billion cubic meters extracted overseas, a 5.6-percent gain from H1, 2009), and 6,76 billion cubic meters produced in Russia (34.9%).

 Growth in refining at Russian refineries of the Group amounted to 1,5%, on foreign refineries - 26,1%.

Oil exports in the first half of the year totaled 20.4 million tons, the export of petroleum products amounted to 12.9 million tons. The total volume of crude oil and petroleum products increased by 2.7% and made up 76.8 million tons.
