Oil price up to $47.39 in London and to $47.98 in New York

In London, the January Brent Crude contract was up $4.99 on December 11 to $47.39 per barrel on the ICE Futures exchange. Light Sweet Crude for January delivery climbed $4.46 to $47.98 on the New York Mercantile Exchange, RBC reports.
