Coal exports from Russia up 13.8% to 88.21 mln t in Jan-July’14

In January-July 2014, Russian coal exports increased by 13.8% (10.68 mln t), year-on-year, to 88.21 million tonnes, the Ministry of Energy statistics said. 

In July, coal exports totaled 13.15 mln t (+7.5%, or 920,400 tonnes, year-on-year) while coal production declined 1.5% (or 422,500 t) to 27.4 mln t.
