Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a law on the development of a free economic zone in the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol. The document has been published on Russia's state legal information website.
The document is available here >>>> (PDF).
As Dmitry Medvedev said earlier, investors of this free economic zone would be exempt from a number of taxes for a term of up to 10 years (depending on tax category), and administrative barriers would be lowered. The so-called flag-of-convenience and port-of-convenience practice can be introduced in Crimea’s sea harbors, which will significantly simplify customs procedures.
