Russian coal exports in January-November 2014 increased by 12,270,000 tonnes, or 9.8% from the same period a year ago to 137,811,000 tonnes, the Ministry of Energy statistics said.
In November, the commodity exports rose by 116,200 tonnes, which represents a 1% gain y-o-y, to 11,939,000 tonnes. Coal production for the same period increased by 2,765,000 tonnes, or 8.9% from a year earlier, to 33,917,000 tonnes (29,659,000 tones supplied).
