In January-April 2015, seaport of Azov handled 1,730,000 t of different cargo (-22.3%, year-on-year), the port Harbour Master Vladimir Bragin told IAA PortNews.

In January-April 2015, the port authorities registered 586 incoming and 600 outgoing vessels against 799 incoming and 806 outgoing vessels a year ago.

Vladimir Bragin attributes the decrease to lower exports of grain and transit of oil products from inland water ways.
