Port Vysotsky LLC takes delivery of two gantry cranes Sokol (photo)

Two gantry cranes Sokol manufactured by Ardelt (Germany) to the order of Port Vysotsk LLC have been delivered today to the port of Vysotsk, press center of the Russian company says.

Each carane’s handling performance is 500 t/h. Crane radius - 36 m.

First two cranes were delivered to the port in late April. Their installation is nearing the completion.

Port Vysotsky LLC specializes in transshipment of Russian coal to the Western Europe. The port’s water area and the approach canal are 12.7 meters deep with the width of the canal totaling 200 metres. In January-April 2015, the company handled 1.61 mln t of cargo, the result similar to that of the previous year.
