In January-October 2015, port Kavkaz handled 23,312 t (+55.5%, year-on-year), Harbour Master of port Kavkaz Yevgeny Tuzinkevich told IAA PortNews.
Off-harbour transshipment complex handled 11,877,000 t of export cargo (+24.5%).
Transshipment of oil products increased by 11.3% to 8,639,000 t, grain – up 28.1% to 3,352,000 t, sulphur and mineral fertilizers – down 46.5% to 1,626,000 t, LPG – down 2.5 times to 155,000 t.
Exports from port Kavkaz dropped up 3.1 times, year-on-year, to 3,119,000, imports – down 44.3% to 211,000 t, while transshipment of coastal trade cargo surged 2.2 times to 8,126,000 t.
Bunker sales at the port dropped by 25.5% to 472,600 t.
Passenger turnover jumped by 79% to 4,373,571 passengers.
The number of calls increased by 39.6% to 17,881 calls.
