Throughput of Neva-Metal (Saint-Petersburg) in Jan-March'16 is flat, year-on-year, at 822,000 t

In January-March 2016, Neva-Metal CJSC (stevedoring company of Severstal) handled about 822,000 t of cargo, which is similar to the result of January-March 2015, the company told IAA PortNews.

Container throughput totaled about 22,000 TEUs.

CJSC Neva-Metal is part of a transport division of Severstal Russian Steel of Severstal Group. Neva-Metal specializes in handling ferrous metals exported by Cherepovetsk Severstal (60% of the stevedore’s total throughput), secondary metals from Severstal-Vtormet and containerized cargo at the berths located in the 3rd Cargo Area of Big Port St. Petersburg.
