In January-March 2016, the port of Primorsk handled 115,466,600 t of cargo (+6%, year-on-year). According to the port authority, oil transshipment climbed 6% to 11,543,700 t.
Transshipment of oil products increased by 5%, year-on-year, to 3,922,800 t.
Port Primorsk is Russia’s largest oil port in the Baltic Sea. It is the final stage of the Baltic Pipeline System (BPS).
