In January-May 2016, the port of Primorsk handled 27,433,800 t of cargo (+12%, year-on-year). According to the port authority, oil transshipment climbed 14% to 21,049,300 t.
Transshipment of oil products increased by 5%, year-on-year, to 6,384,500 t.
Port Primorsk is Russia’s largest oil port in the Baltic Sea. It is the final stage of the Baltic Pipeline System (BPS).
