Crimea Bridge designers enhance protection of the bridge support structures (graphics)

Designers of the Crimea Bridge have enhanced the protection of the bridge supports, a source in Institute Giprostroymost OJSC told IAA PortNews.

Basing on the results of a mathematical modeling, special protective structures will be installed near the bridge supports to prevent possible allision of ships with bridge supports.

Mathematical modeling of possible allision had been carried out by Krylov State Research Center to the order of Institute Giprostroymost OJSC, the bridge designer.

The supports of the Crimea Bridge will also have CSS3000 Fenders.
