RZHD and Vnesheconombank (VTB) are going to sign an agreement on cooperation, the company informed according to AK&M.
RZHD was set up on the basis of the communications ministry in 2003. 100% are held by the state (85.5ths km of railways length in total). The net profit in 2007 (RAS) rose 3.1 fold to 84mln rub. from 26.3bn rub. last year; revenues being up 16.9% to 728.4bn rub. from 623.3bn rub.; gross profit - 29.6% to 77.9bn rub. from 60.2bn rub.; pretax profit - 24.9% to 72.8bn rub. from 58.3bn rub.
Vnesheconombank was set up through the restructuring of Vnesheconombank of USSR. The share capital should be no less 70bn rub. in line with the governmental regulations. The main target is the support of the economic growth through the attraction of foreign investments among other measures.
It provides assistance at the realization of innovation projects and crediting of small- and medium-size business.
