A feasibility study for Burgas-Alexandroupolis project is expected to be approved before the year-end, and the construction of the oil pipeline is to be launched in 2009, Russia's Industry and Energy Minister Viktor Khristenko told journalists today according to RBC.
As reported earlier, the shareholders and the Supervisory Council of the International Project Company (IPC) approved the pipeline budget of EUR 5.8m and means of its financing. Andrei Dementyev, Russia's Deputy Industry and Energy Minister, believes that the IPC could approve the preliminary feasibility study before summer 2008.
