Russia is ready to join the World Trade Organization this year, President Elect Dmitry Medvedev said Monday at a conference with top executives of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Itar-Tass reports.
“We’re really ready to joint the WTO and we can complete the process before the end of this year,” he said.
“However, we must join the organization on the normal condition of equality like all other countries do, not on the conditions of poor cousins,” Medvedev said.
