Astrakhan Shipbuilding Production Association (ASPO) has completed construction of Module 10 for Kashagan field – utility platform one of the core assets of the field infrastructure. Module # 10 was constructed under the survey of DNV, press center of MNP Group informs. The Module’s length is some 95 m, breadth – 16 m, weight – 3,000 tonnes.
Kashagan Field is an oil fieldlocated in Kazakhstan . The field is situated in the northern part of the Caspian sea close to the Kazakhstan city of Atyrau. The field was discovered in 2000. The Agreement is made up of 7 companies consisting of ENI, Total, ExxonMobil, Royal Dutch/Shell (18.52%, each), ConocoPhillips (9.26%), Inpex and KazMunaiGaz (8.33%).
